2022 Picnic

The LCW was happy to host a church picnic on September 11, 2022 as a kick-off for the fall church year.  It was well attended and volunteers helped to provide for the pot-luck meal with salads and desserts.  LCW provided hotdogs, buns, potato chips and beverages  Even though the weather was not favorable for a picnic, we enjoyed the meal in Fellowship hall and the opportunity to visit with our fellow LOL members.  An added bonus to the event was the presence of Jeremiah, the comfort dog.  He was wonderful to all the people, patiently standing by to be petted and talked to.  We thank Marilynn Sells for arranging for the visit with Jeremiah.  A frewilloffering was collected for the Lutheran Comfort Dogs and we were so happy to have such an outpouring of support from those in attendence.
